Let’s skip the risky hiring process. I'm Kim Peterson, CFRE, and I step in as your interim fundraiser: part-time, on contract for the time you need. I work with small and mid-sized nonprofits across Canada remotely, with hybrid options within Metro Vancouver.
When interim support makes sense
Long-term or parental leave. Your fundraiser is going on leave and you need someone to hold the work until they return.
A vacancy. You're between hires and don't want to make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
A capacity crunch. Year-end, a major campaign, or a stack of grant deadlines that is more than your team can carry.
Parental leave coverage, without the junior-hire gamble
When the budget for leave coverage only stretches to a junior hire, you could end up recruiting, training, and supervising when what you really need is experienced support. With interim fundraising support you get a senior fundraiser working part-time, often within the same budget.
Parental leaves are planned, so we can plan too. I can start up to 4 weeks before your fundraiser goes so they can hand over what they know. I hold your key relationships while they're away, and hand everything back organized when they return.
